Personally:
Family meeting 2005: This year, on the 7th of May we had a little meeting in Plate. This meeting has been organized by Lisa Mißfeldt (8143) from Plate. Some family members came on Friday evening and a little chat. Lisa welcomes us and told from Mißfeldts from Plate and Sukow and she asked us for new informations. After that Bernd Jansen (1331) from Kronshagen referred about ethics and tradition specially in case of death and burial. When Bernd has finished, Horst Missfeldt (92) from Ratekau told about data collection etc. Up to now he has about 10.100 person in his computer.
Before lunch we took an family photo. The weather was fine, cold but quite sunny! After lunch we had tour by carriage thru the Störtal. Because we were cold, we had been happy to get some coffee and cakes. All together it had been a nice meeting! Thanks to Lisa and Werner for the really good organization.
The meeting shall start, but not so big as in 2000. A few little changes I had to make, to get it a little easier for me. Dishes, drinks and overnight stay has to be payed directly to the hotelier. The bookings will have to be made over me, because the hotelier wants to know how many guests he will have.
The price I don´t know at this time – I will check it, when I´ve gotten Your announcements. The provisional announcement will only be for me, to see how many guests we will have. The final announcement You will get with the route description. Today I got some announcements 6 – 8 persons from Canada and USA and 6 – 8 persons from Denmark. The date of the meeting will be in May 2007-10-23
